Inter are interested in signing Dynamo Kiev defenders Aleksander Dragovic and Domagoj Vida as they attempt to strengthen their backline ahead of next season but financially, the Nerazzurri will need to sell players in order to facilitate transfer bids for the duo.
The Milanese giants have already run foul of FIFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations and without the prospect of European football to boast their coffers, the club hierarchy will need to manage their finances carefully over the summer while trying to reinforce a squad mired in mid-table mediocracy.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Juan Jesus and Nemanja Vidic will be sacrificed by Inter in order to fund moves for Dragovic and Vida who are valued by the Ukrainians at €15 million and €10m, respectively. Both centre backs have been central to Kiev’s Europa League run to the quarter finals.
Vidic in particular has struggled at Inter this season after arriving from Manchester United and, as the club’s highest earner, the Nerazzurri are keen to move him on despite the Serb’s insistence that he wants to remain in Milan.
