Inter will reportedly attempt to replace young midfielder Mateo Kovacic with Manchester City’s Yaya Toure.

The Nerazzurri would prefer to sell the Croatian rather than their top goalscorer Mauro Icardi, but would have to receive an offer in the region of €35 million to sell.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini has also said that there will be no place in the team for Kovacic next season.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, contacts between Mancini and Toure are almost daily after the two parties worked together to win the Premier League title at Manchester City.

It is also seen that Toure would be an important signing due to the great revenue that merchandising could bring in.

Kovacic has been out-of-favour since Mancini took charge in November despite being the second top-goalscorer for the club with five goals.
