AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi spoke ahead of his midweek Serie A clash against Genoa, assuring fans that the Rossoneri will react.
AC Milan slumped to their ninth defeat of the season after their weekend game against Udinese, which further stoked the furor of the fans and leading them to resume protests come Wednesday.
Inzaghi spoke about being wary of Genoa, and focused on AC Milan needing the right attitude ahead of the match on Wednesday night.
“We will have to have to give our answer on the field and demonstrate to the fans our love for the shirt,” Inzaghi said to Milan Channel.
“Genoa are having a great season and showing that they can contend with anyone.
“We have a chance to redeem ourselves after the loss to Udinese; we have to approach the game with the right attitude.
“Tomorrow we will see a reaction from the team.
“[M’Baye] Niang? I wish him the best but not tomorrow.”
