Juventus’ derby preparations have been tempered with the news that Claudio Marchisio will miss the game against Torino through suspension.
The 29-year-old has been an influential figure in the Derby della Mole in recent seasons and the Bianconeri youth product has three goals across the cross-city rivals.
However, a yellow card picked up against Lazio in his side’s 2-0 win at home in the league on Saturday night means that he is ruled out of the fixture.
Torino themselves have no suspension worries hindering them for the contest.
Seven Juventus players are in danger of missing the game following that one against Fiorentina should they pick up a booking in the derby, namely Stephan Lichtsteiner, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Paolo De Ceglie, Patrice Evra, Roberto Pereyra and Arturo Vidal.
By contrast, six Granata players are also one yellow card away from a ban: Daniele Padelli, Emiliano Moretti, Nikola Maksimovic, Alessandro Gazzi, Amauri and Fabio Quagliarella.
