Roma forward Adem Ljajic failed to explain his side’s performance against Atalanta at Stadio Olimpico, and highlighted the importance of the end-of-season Rome derby.
Roma missed the opportunity to go above city rivals Lazio in second, as the Giallorossi drew Atalanta 1-1 on Sunday afternoon in Serie A.
“I don’t have the answer as to why Roma have been performing so poorly in recent days,” Ljajic told Rai Sport.
“We did the best to win the game and take back second place.
“We have to give everything in the remaining games; we should aim as high as possible.
“We should consider the remaining seven games as seven finals, and we need to perform well as a team.
“I think the Rome derby will be decisive to decide on the [automatic] champions league spot.”
