Inter coach Roberto Mancini believes that Filippo Inzaghi will be given the time to succeed at rivals AC Milan.
The two Milan clubs have fallen from grace in recent years, sitting in mid-table after turbulent seasons at the San Siro; especially for Inzaghi as fan dissent and takeover talk has dominated a listless campaign on the pitch in Serie A.
Speaking to Stricisa la Notiza after both coaches were awarded the 2015 Tapiro d’Oro, or Golden Tapir, satirical award for underachievement, Mancini spoke about his rival: “I hope he has good luck and I wish him the best with things. He is a young coach and will have the time to do the right things and succeed.”
The Nerazzurri drew 0-0 with Inzaghi’s Milan on Sunday night, and host Rudi Garcia’s Roma on April 25.
