Manolas - RomaStruggling Serie A side Roma are already thinking about next season, with reports suggesting that there will be a huge overhaul of their defence as they look to finally mount a serious title challenge.

The Giallorossi have fallen away terribly in the battle for the league, with a desperate set of results in 2015 which has seen them drop to third place, behind bitter city rivals Lazio and runaway leaders Juventus.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, only Greek centre back Kostas Manolas will be assured a starting shirt as the likes of Ashley Cole, Lukasz Skorupski, Maicon, Vasilis Torosidis and Davide Astori are all likely to leave the club.

Morgan De Sanctis, Jose Holebas and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa should remain as backups, but the outfit will be looking to bring in new faces that will help turn Rudi Garcia’s side into potential Scudetto winners.

I’d pay Skorupski to leave! But I’ll put the money straight into his pocket, because he’ll probably drop it with his butter fingers.
