Chievo coach Rolando Maran spoke ahead of their game against Udinese, calling for more focus from his team until the end of the season.
Chievo are 13th in Serie A and comfortably away from the relegation zone. With little to lose or play for however, Maran has insisted his team keep their intensity up.
Chievo will face Udinese on Sunday in Serie A, with the Flying Donkeys’ coach requiring his team stay concentrated to reach the 40-point barrier.
“The goal of Serie A survival is but a step away but we must stay focused,” Maran said in his pre-match press conference.
“We have to maintain our competitive spirit [against Udinese]; I know I have strong professionals and they are doing something fantastic.
“We have created something important and are a difficult team for anyone to face.”
