Chievo boss Rolando Maran feels his side put in an extraordinary display to draw 1-1 against Lazio.
A late strike from Alberto Paloschi gave the Flying Donkeys a point against a misfiring Aquile side at the Stadio Olimpico.
“It was an extraordinary performance, it’s never easy to get a result against Lazio,” Maran told Rai Sport.
Paloschi thundered home the unexpected equaliser to cancel out Miroslav Klose’s first half strike.
“In the second half we were much more dangerous, I’d just like to say I am very pleased with the players,” Maran continued.
“We always have to improve and impress which motivated us and today it showed.”
Chievo sit safely in 14th in the Serie A table with 37 points.
