Monaco midfielder Joao Moutinho has warned Juventus not to be over confident going into their Champions League quarter-final as the Serie A club could come unstuck just as Premier League side Arsenal did against the Ligue 1 side.

The former Porto man also praised the merits of Bianconeri stars Paul Pogba and Carlos Tevez, but highlighted that the tie cannot be won by an individual alone.

“Juventus are a great team and are favourites but so were Arsenal,” Moutinho told Tuttosport.

“It will not be easy for us, but we will give everything to get to the semi-finals and then the final.

“The last victory gave us a smile and we are in the ideal climate to prepare for game, it will be a tough match.

“We are the underdogs, but we are young and ambitious and we want to use this opportunity to stay focused.

“Tevez and Pogba are two great players and are dangerous but we cannot focus on the individual.

“Would I ever come to Serie A in the future? I do not know, I see Spain or England as better options, but I have a contract with Monaco and I want to respect it.”
