Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has reportedly rebuffed interest from clubs around Europe as he is intent on staying at the Giallorossi.

The 26 year-old, who is currently co-owned between the Lupi and Cagliari, has garnered interest thanks to his stellar performances with the capital club but it appears his stay with the Giallorossi is set to extend beyond this season.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, contract talks between the Belgian and Roma’s sporting director Walter Sabatini have been ongoing since January and a new deal is likely to be struck worth €2.5 million plus bonuses per season.

While other clubs are reportedly willing to offer the Belgian €4m a season, it is believed a fee of €40m would be needed in order to take him away from Roma and Cagliari.

Nainggolan has scored five goals in 56 appearances for Roma since joining in January 2014.
