Loaned-out AC Milan striker Nnamdi Oduamadi has confirmed he will return to the club in the summer after opting against extending his loan at Latina for another season.

The Nigerian severed ties with another Serie B side Crotone in the winter transfer window before arriving at the Stadio Domenico Francioni.

“Latina are willing to extend my loan but I will return to Milan in the summer,” the 24-year-old told SL10.ng.

“AC Milan are my team, from there I’ll know if I will stay or go out on loan next season.

“My agent has told me so many teams are interested in me. I do not know where I’m heading to, let’s wait and see.”

Oduamadi was linked with Trabzonspor and Crystal Palace in the winter transfer window, but is eager to remain in Italy, as he will become eligible for citizenship in the next two years.

“The Italian passport is important. I am not thinking of leaving Italy, I have spent eight years here,” Oduamadi continued.

”I trained with AC Milan in 2006. It takes 10 years to get the passport, it makes no sense to leave Italy after eight years.”
