Palermo coach Giuseppe Iachini was left disappointed after his side’s 1-0 defeat to Parma, and felt they never recovered from Antonio Nocerino’s first half penalty.

The Rosanero have had won their previous two matches, but have only won away from home twice this season.

”We did not start well in the first quarter of an hour of the game,” Iachini told Rai Sport.

”We usually try to take the game to our opponents in this period but we didn’t and Parma have exploited the opportunity to go forward.”

Despite having plenty of chances to equalize, especially in the first half, The Rosanero coach was unhappy his side failed to find their killer touch in front of goal.

”We tried to get back into the game,” the tactician continued, “but some of our finishing was poor and Mirante was good in goal for them as well. We need to do more, and do better, in these situations.”

The defeat leaves Palermo in 11th place in the Serie A table.
