Following Chievo’s hard-fought 1-1 draw against Lazio, goalscorer for the Flying Donkeys Alberto Paloschi was proud of his side after obtaining a point against the second place team in Serie A.
The 25-year-old obtained the equaliser with an incredible strike in the 75th minute and he has praised his team-mates for their tireless performance at the Stadio Olimpico.
“I think that today we have given everything,” Paloschi told Sky Sport Italia.
“We played a great game and are happy with the positive result.”
The Chievo striker has also spoken positively about Gialloblu coach Rolando Maran after the former player has turned results around since his appointment in October 2014.
“As soon as the coach arrived we trusted him immediately,” he continued. “Every week he teaches us things and helps us put them into practice on the field.
“We started the year badly but now we have all succeeded in finding some continuity in terms of our results.”
Chievo now find themselves in 14th place and are 14 points clear of the relegation zone.
