With a 2-1 loss to Inter at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic found it hard to accept the defeat and spokeĀ about the need for the Giallorossi to take back their winning form.

A late strike from Mauro Icardi gave Inter their first victory over Roma in four years, and confirmed the ongoing slump of Rudi Garcia’s squad in the second half of the campaign, as they now find themselves in third.

“It’s hard to accept what happens in this second part of the season,” said Pjanic to Sky Sport Italia.

“We have to try to spin the wheel, you have to take maximum points. It’s hard to accept this defeat because we came here looking for the three points.”

The Bosnian added a reflection on the stellar form at the start to the season by the Lupi that has been restrained by negative attitudes.

“There are attitudes that we must change during games,” he said.

“When things go well I do not want to accept it, we must have a great anger to return to winning and be the real Roma that we showed earlier this year.”
