Roma captain Francesco Totti is set to make the final call when it comes to making decisions regarding his future.

There has been recent speculation about whether the 38-year-old will be offered a new contract after his current one expires in June 2016 however it now seems that ‘Il Capitano’ will be the man to call the shots.

The Corriere dello Sport have reiterated the stance that Totti will be the man who will decide whether or not he is to continue playing.

This is helped by the fact that the player is on good terms with both Roma coach Rudi Garcia as well as the president James Pallotta, therefore the delicate situation will hopefully be handled without any great controversy.

The Giallorossi legend has made 583 appearances in the Roma shirt and following his future retirement it is more than likely that he will join the club hierarchy.
