Roma forward Juan Iturbe will reportedly remain at the capital city club next season despite rumours claiming otherwise.

The 21-year-old, whose current deal with the Giallorossi is set to expire in June 2019, has struggled to shine in Rudi Garcia’s line up this season, which has seen him heavily linked with possible moves to English clubs Liverpool and Arsenal, though it seems like the Stadio Olimpico outfit have no plans of letting him go any time soon.

According to Il Tempo, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has turned down several advances from the Premier League sides for the Argentine in recent months and has been personally attempting to help the winger find his form by instilling his faith and trust in his ability to perform well.

Iturbe, who cost the Lupi a total fee of around €25 million upon his arrival from Hellas Verona in July 2014, has scored just one goal and provided one assist in his 20 Serie A appearances this term thus far.
