Roma reach agreement with Marseille star

Roma have reportedly reached an agreement with Marseille striker Andre Ayew over a free summer transfer, with the player’s contract running out in two months.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian international is having a fine season for the Les Phocéens, netting 8 goals and assisting another 5 in twenty-four Ligue 1 apperances and had been previously linked to a move to Inter, but now looks set to make a move to Serie A rivals Roma.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the Giallorossi have a definite agreement with Ayew for next season, and the player will move to the Stadio Olimpico on a four-year deal with an annual salary of €3 million with bonuses based on performances.

Ayew is a regular starter for the Ghanian national team and has made an impressive amount of 63 appearances for the Black Stars, scoring 11 goals.
