Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni commened his side’s brave performance in their 2-1 victory over AC Milan at the Stadio Friuli, claiming it to be their best game at home.

The Italian coach’s side downed the Rossoneri thanks to goals from Giampiero Pinzi and Emmanuel Badu in a hard fought game, with the win seeing the Zebrette now returning to winning ways.

“Today this team has shown what we can do,” he told Sky Sport Italia

“We deserved this win. This is the best home game that we have played all season.

“The way our fans have backed us is extremely important, and we wanted to win in-front of them.”

Despite the victory the tactician believes his side need to concentrate, and anticipates the next fixture against his former employers Inter.

“So far this season we have had to many ups and downs,” he continued.

“We suffered a bit today, though we did well in terms of the intensity of the game.

“Now we have to remain humble, this victory has taken us another step away from relegation.

“The next game is against Inter and we have to do well. We can’t give up now.”
