Carlos Tevez has made no secret of his desire to end his career at hometown club Boca Juniors, and the Juventus striker is also trying to convince teammate Andrea Pirlo to join him in Argentina.

The 35-year-old has been fundamental to the Bianconeri’s three successive Serie A titles since arriving from AC Milan.

According to Tuttosport Juventus will not throw money at a player clearly approaching the latter stages of his career, but are confident they can retain the veteran midfielder and keep him out of the clutches of the Buenos Aires giants.

The 2006 World Cup winner has made 114 Serie A appearances for the Bianconeri and netted 14 goals, and looks set to secure the sixth Scudetto of his Serie A career this term.
