Reports suggest that Inter president Erick Thohir is seeking new investment for the Nerazzurri.

The Indonesian communications magnate has recently loaned the club a sum of €50 million in an attempt to clear the €80m of debt that saddle Inter, with Thohir seemingly unwilling to tackle the problems that face Serie A’s 10th-placed club alone.

According to Mediaset Premium, New York-based investment bank Goldman Sachs has been mandated with finding potential investors, and the possibility of a new buyer for Inter has also not been entirely ruled out.

Thohir has been majority shareholder at Inter since September 2013, adding the Nerazzurri side to MLS franchise DC United as well as 2014 Indonesian Super League champions Persib Bandung.
