Torino boss Giampiero Ventura will reportedly sign a contract extension with the Turin side this summer despite rumours claiming otherwise.
The 67-year-old, whose current deal with the Granata is set to expire in June 2016, has been linked with a possible move to Sampdoria at the end of the season as a replacement for departing Blucerchiati coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, though he apparently has no plans to change teams.
According to AlfredoPedulla.com, Torino president Urbano Cairo would be ready to offer the tactician a new deal that would see him remain at Il Toro until June 2018 in order to prevent him from taking up a position elsewhere.
Ventura, who has been at the helm of the Turin side since June 2011, led his team to a seventh place finish last season and could possibly lead them to a top five finish this term as they currently sit in seventh just six points behind fifth place Sampdoria.
