Darmian - TorinoTorino president Urbano Cairo has rubbished claims the club is looking to sell Matteo Darmian for a big price in the summer.

The 25-year-old Italian international has enjoyed another brilliant campaign with the Granata, leading to speculation that European giants Bayern Munich and Barcelona are preparing offers.

“We do not need to sell anyone,” Cairo told Radio 24 when pressed on whether Darmian would leave in the summer.

“What matters is that the players are motivated to the maximum, because if a player remains motivated, then the club has no need to sell him.”

Darmian scored the equalizer on the weekend in the derby victory over Juventus, and has been an ever-present for the Granata this campaign.
