AC Milan youngster Alessandro Mastalli admitted it was an ‘indescribable experience’ after making his debut against Torino on Sunday night.

The club’s Primavera captain came on as a second half substitute to replace Andrea Poli and had a better time of it than Torino’s Simone Rosso who also came on late in the game to make his first senior appearance.

Speaking to Milan Channel afterwards, Mastalli said: “It is a unique experience – I just do not know how to describe it because even to come in a game at that stage was an incredible feeling.

“I still have a hold of the feelings and they will remain with me for life. Of course, when you start to train with the club, you think about what it would be like to make your debut and I am happy it arrived.

“I am very happy and have to thank the coach and the club. I think I will be staying with the first team now until the end of the league and who knows? Hopefully other young players may also play for the first time.”

The 19-year-old Bologna native has played for the club’s Primavera side for the last two years.
