AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Ola John from Portuguese giants Benfica at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old is yet to have a convincing campaign with the Eagles since his move from Dutch side Twente in 2012, which also saw the winger spend a brief loan spell with Germans Hamburg at the beginning of 2014.

According to O Jogo, the Rossoneri have identified John as a potential transfer target, but would have to pay in the region of €20 million to secure his services.

Speculation suggests Benfica will place the Dutchman on the summer transfer market, after the player’s third party ownership, Doyen Sports are pushing for their client to leave Portugal.

John has amassed 25 appearances in the Primeira Liga this campaign scoring three goals and laying on a further five assists in the process.
