AC Milan are hoping to convince Carlo Ancelotti to return to the club by promising a raft new signings to improve the squad.

The Italian tactician is expected to leave Real Madrid after ending the season trophyless, while the Rossoneri have been less than convinced with current boss Filippo Inzaghi’s performance over the last 10 months.

According to Marca, Milan will offer Ancelotti a five-year contract and a transfer war chest of €150 million as they look to revitalise the squad.

It is thought that Milan want to have a large core of Italian players at the club and along with gnazio Abate, Mattia De Sciglio, Riccardo Montolivo, Giacomo Bonaventura, Stephan El Shaarawy, they want to add Ciro Immobile, Matteo Darmian, Andrea Bertolacci and Mirko Valdifiori.

While youngsters Daniele Baselli and Jose Mauri have also been earmarked by the Rossoneri.

In addition Milan will likely go after big names such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Radamel Falcao and Sami Khedira to improve the quality within the squad.
