AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari is set to leave the Rossoneri for the Premier League this summer, with Everton a likely destination.

The Ghanaian is almost certain to be leaving Milan at the end of the season, and has been seeking out options for his next move despite having a year left on his deal.

Gazzetta.it report that Roberto Martinez’s Everton side have been in touch with Muntari’s agent, looking to pip fellow Premier League side West Ham Utd to the Champions League winner’s signature.

Muntari joined Milan initially on loan from Inter before making the move permanent, but has never quite been able to cement a first-team spot at the Rossoneri, despite some impressive performances, including scoring a goal on his debut.

He has previously represented both Portsmouth and Sunderland in the Premier League, winning the FA Cup with Pompey in 2008.
