AC Milan’s Stephan El Shaarawy is apparently open to a move away from Serie A, and could leave the club this summer.

The Italian international joined the Rossoneri in 2011 and was tipped as being the next big thing to hit Serie A, but a series of injuries have contributed to a dip in form for the 22-year-old and he has been linked with several moves away from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

The player’s brother, Manuel El Shaarawy, who is also his agent, spoke to Sky Sport Italia and suggested that a move abroad could be on the cards for the Milan attacker.

“I will not deny that I would love to see Stephan abroad,” he began.

“With regard to AC Milan, we will see what happens in the summer and with the coach before making any decisions.”

He went on to say that the Premier League is very much a league that would interest his brother.

“The Premier League is one that fascinates me,” he stated.

He concluded by saying that he was not definitely saying a move would happen this summer, but he would not be ruling anything out.

“I am not saying that it is definitely time to make a move, but a change in scenery might be what is needed for him to find his best form again.”
