AC Milan striker Giampaolo Pazzini was happy with his goal against former club Atalanta, but admitted he doesn’t know if he will be at the Stadio Meazza come the end of the summer.

The centre-forward netted a penalty to level the game after Daniele Baselli’s opener, leading the way to Milan’s win after Giacomo Bonaventura scored the second and the third to make it 3-1.

“I was hoping to do well tonight. I haven’t played much this season and really wanted to do well,” he told Mediaset in the post game interview.

“My future doesn’t depend on me, but I showed I feel good and I can still demonstrate my value and do my best.

“It’s a shame [I didn’t play much], because I have always trained hard. I never created any trouble and tried to contribute.

“I take with me the last two positive games, it’s important for me.”

The striker spoke about his future, mentioning the fact there are many players with their contract expiring at Milan.

“I don’t know anything about my future,” he stated. “I’m curious to see what happens, there’s a lot of players in my situation.”

Pazzini spoke about his future at the club and the uncertainty Milan is going through, with the possibility of Carlo Ancelotti becoming the new coach.

“I don’t know if I’ll still be a Milan player, what is sure is that until June 30 I will be,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“[Adriano] Galliani told us tonight that he will talk to all the players whose contracts are expiring, let’s see what happens.

“I have never spoken to Ancelotti. Milan will make their choices, I am not worried, just curious to see what will happen.”
