Italy striker Mario Balotelli will not leave Liverpool during the summer transfer window, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
The 24-year-old has failed to impress since joining the Merseyside club from AC Milan in August, and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks.
“We had talks with Liverpool and he will definitely stay,” Raiola told Sky Sports.
“I think Mario did adapt. I have spoken at various times to the club and they were happy with his input and professionalism.
“Obviously we have to improve the performance but I am really confident that will happen this year.”
Balotelli has scored just one league goal during 16 appearances for The Reds, scoring three goals in a total of 21 appearances.
