Barcelona defender Gerard Pique believes his side have the experience and tactical know-how to conquer Juventus in the Champions League final.

The Spanish centre-back has won two Champions League titles during his time in Catalonia, along with a World Cup and five Primera Divisions, which he has outlined as helping the Blaugrana when they take on the Old Lady on June 6 in Berlin.

“We are the favourites, but it will be hard to beat Juventus and Atheltic Club[who Barca face in the Copa del Rey final],” the 28-year-old told Mundo Deportivo. “They are two teams who share an intensity in their game.

“I remember the European Super Cup against Shakhtar Donetsk and the 2009 Copa del Rey final with Atheltic Club, they went ahead but we re-assembled well.

“Juventus will sit back even more than they did, letting us have possession while being dangerous on the counter-attack.”

If Barcelona can overcome the Bianconeri and Athletic Club they will claimed an unexpected treble, something which Pique firmly believes in.

“I am convinced we can do the treble, but we must keep our feet on the ground,” the defender continued.

“Juventus have [Alvaro] Morata and we know about [Carlos] Tevez while in midfield they are very strong with quality and quantity through the likes of [Paul] Pogba, [Claudio] Marchisio and [Andrea] Pirlo.”
