Silvio Berlusconi has already reportedly rejected several potential candidates for the AC Milan head coaching position next season including Sevilla’s Unai Emery.

Although the future of current head coach Filippo Inzaghi has not been confirmed, it is almost certain that the former goal-poacher will lose his position after a difficult season for the Rossoneri and a long list of replacements has been lined up.

Despite heavy reports of Empoli’s Maurizio Sarri, Emery and Sinisa Mihajlovic of Sampdoria all being linked with the hot-seat, according to Sky Sport Italia, Berlusconi has rejected any chance of them replacing Inzaghi.

Recently dismissed Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is now seemingly favourite to take the reins, but if he were to turn down the opportunity, the only two other coaches left on Berlusconi’s list are Fiorentina’s Vincenzo Montella and Azzurri head coach Antonio Conte.
