After rumours suggesting Juventus were interested in signing Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah, the player’s agent has denied being contacted by the Old Lady but admits an interest in leaving the Stadio Sant’Elia.

The 18-year-old broke into the Sardinian squad after joining from Palermo in the summer of 2014, and as a box-to-box midfielder he has been a bright light in a Rossoblu team relegated to Serie B.

Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Ghanaian’s agent Arthur Oliver declared: “I have seen the rumours but I must say I have not talked to Cagliari or Juventus [about a transfer].

“I have read inflated figures,” Oliver said about a €6 million fee banded about in gossip columns, “for an 18-year-old with just 20 Serie A apperances and while he would jump for joy if Juventus bought him, there has been no official contact.

“There has been interest from Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool, but there is nothing official from those teams.”
