Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco expects the speculation over his future to be settled within the next seven days.
The former Roma midfielder has guided the Neroverde to Serie A safety in two consecutive seasons and has been linked with a move away from the club.
However, Di Francesco insists his first priority remains Sassuolo, who travel to Udinese on Sunday afternoon in a game they intend to win.
“We want to gain points and improve our position,” Di Francesco explained in his pre-game press conference.
“We will be facing an opponent who has had ups and downs this season, just like us, so I expect my team to have the correct attitude.
“I will field the best team possible, but have been forced into a couple of changes.”
The Neroverde coach concluded by attempting to end speculation about his future.
“Next week we will decide my future,” he revealed, “but I expect that I will be staying here.”
