Parma coach Roberto Donadoni admitted that there is still a chance that they will forfeit their Serie A match with Sampdoria on Sunday night, and will make a decision after their last training session before the tie.

The disagreement with the Italian football authorities relates to their request that the Gialloblu return €5 million made available in loans to help them complete the season.

“We will decide whether to strike after training,” Donadoni told the press conference.

“First we train, then we see if everyone respects the understandings and agreements that we were without their having ignored, we will do our duty to the end.

“I know nothing [about the stakeholders], from our point of view we have done all we could do.

“We have reduced 75 percent of delayed fees. It is just that apparently there is someone who has agreed to this, but reduced by 50 percent. It is not the same thing.

“I spoke yesterday with [FIGC president Carlo] Tavecchio and he reiterated that these loans are not added to the sporting debt sport.

“I do not think Tavecchio ignores this, he is a man of his word.

“[With the FIGC] you can never tell what position to take. The reasons they give are always vague without giving clarity, and that was the way we manage our world today, which leaves room for the smart.

“Each of them will have to explain his motives, but you have to be consistent.”
