ACF Fiorentina v SSC Napoli - Serie AFiorentina striker Khouma Babacar has refuted suggestions he is set to leave the club in the summer, after reports linking him to the Bundesliga emerged this week.

The 22-year-old Senegalese youth international was enjoying a good season with the Viola, before an injury ruled him out for the season in April.

Reports this week suggested that the player has spurned the opportunity to extend his deal at the club, after it emerged that Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt were tracking his situation.

Babacar however took to Twitter to nonsense this rumours, insisting his intention is to remain in Florence for many years.

“This news is false! I love Florence, and I hope that my future is still long in purple shirt,” Babacar wrote.

Babacar had netted nine goals in 25 appearances this season, after returning from an impressive loan spell at Modena last campaign.
