Mario MandzukicAdriano Galliani has all-but ruled out an AC Milan move for Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic.

The 29-year-old signed for Atletico last summer but has been linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon Stadium and Rossoneri vice-presidentĀ Galliani has been in Madrid for talks about a possible deal.

“We do not know yet and I will not comment on the players of other teams until Milan confirm something, but I do not think [Mandzukic] will come,” the 70-year-old told AS.

On the subject of the Colchoneros’ midfielder Mario Suarez, who Milan have been recently linked with, the Italian was less certain: “we will see, but we do not know.”

Finally, Galliani spoke about Milan’s attempts to lure Carlo Ancelotti back to the San Siro, with the Champions League winning coach now confirmed as leaving Real Madrid.

“We are trying,” GallianiĀ admitted, “but he is not sure yet.”
