Rudi Garcia spoke ahead of Monday’s Derby della Capitale clash against Lazio, bullish about Roma’s intentions to take all three points.
Roma stand second in Serie A, a point ahead of Lazio and with a good chance to seal the automatic Champions League spot should they emerge victors at the Stadio Olimpico.
Garcia was adamant that Roma will go for the win and that the Giallorossi will do their talking on the pitch.
“Who is favourite? Everyone says Lazio are,” Garcia said in his pre-match press conference.
“From listening to others it looks like they have already won, but football is played on the pitch. My team has worked well and we will try to win to upset the odds.
“We will play to win and without worrying about calculating. We are second [a point ahead] and we want to be even further ahead by the end of the game.”
