Genoa boss Gian Piero Gasperini has revealed that he wants his men to give their all in their decisive home match against Inter on Saturday but admits that the Rossoblu have already had a great season no matter what happens.

The Grifone will have the opportunity to break into the top five in their final home game of the 2014-15 campaign against the Nerazzurri, as they currently sit in sixth place just two points behind fifth place Fiorentina, and the tactician is hoping to see all of his players present on the sidelines to show their support throughout the game.

Gasperini spoke during his pre-match press conference on Friday about the importance of the clash with Inter and commented on his satisfaction with Genoa’s successful run this season.

“Tomorrow will be our last important game of the season, but there will be a party this summer no matter what happens due to our great campaign,” said the 57-year-old.

“This season has been positive for us from all points of view, we must be careful to attack and defend the right way tomorrow.

“We will have both Tino Costa and Sebastian De Maio returning for the match against Inter tomorrow, while instead Zakaria Bergdich is in doubt.

“I want all of the Genoa players on the sidelines at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris tomorrow, even the injured ones, so we can be there to help those playing.”
