Ahead of the Rosanero’s final clash of the Serie A campaign against Roma, coach Giuseppe Iachini has expressed gratitude and pride in his team after weathering the storm of top flight Italian football once again.

Despite failing to keep a consistent run of positive results and seeing star player Paulo Dybala promised to Juventus, the coach holds total confidence and esteem in his squad to continue strongly.

“After last year when we did egregious things in Serie B it was not easy to repeat in a year like this,” Iachini said to the press.

“I’m proud of these guys. My goal is to pursue a path already marked by the many growing players, many of them for the first time facing the top flight.”

The coach highlighted his plans to make further improvements on the side with the help of president Maurizio Zamparini.

“Certainly, as always happens, I’ll make my list that will compare with that of the company and observers around the world viewing a large number of players,” he said.
