Inter are reportedly considering a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile this summer as they hunt for a possible Mauro Icardi replacement.

Icardi, whose current contract with Inter is set to expire in June 2018, is widely expected to leave the Nerazzurri at the end of the season, with Chelsea seen as his next likely destination, which has caused the Biscione to look elsewhere for someone to fill his role.

According to Sport Mediaset, Inter may be focused on bringing Immobile back to the Serie A following his inconsistent debut season with Dortmund, with the Bundesliga side apparently open to letting him go in the coming months if the right offer were to arrive.

Aside from the Italian international, reports also suggest that the Stadio Meazza outfit have also got their eye on Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic as another alternative.

Immobile, who has a deal with the BVB that’s set to last until June 2019, has scored just three goals and provided one assist in his 23 Bundesliga appearances this term thus far.
