Inter are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea defender Filipe Luis this summer.

The 29-year-old, whose current contract with the Blues is set to expire in June 2017, failed to secure a solid place in Jose Mourinho’s squad during his debut season in England which has led some to believe that he could be willing to make his exit from the club this summer, with teams including the Nerazzurri and his former club Atletico Madrid apparently ready to begin talks for his services.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are viewing the Brazilian international as a first choice alternative to original target Matteo Darmian, as the Chelsea man could be easier to sign than the Torino talent due to the Italian’s high price.

Filipe Luis, who arrived at the Stamford Bridge outfit from Atletico Madrid for a fee of around €22 million in July 2014, had managed to make just 15 Premier League appearances during the 2014-15 campaign.
