Inter are set to move for Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante, as they search for adequate backup to Samir Handanovic.

The 31-year-old Italian has been a consistent performer for Parma ever since joining back in 2010, and the Nerazzuri are keen to bring him into their squad for next season

FcInterNews.it report that with Parma relegated to Serie B next season and their financial difficulties, Mirante is certain to leave the club in the off-season.

Inter, who have been unconvinced with deputy Juan Carrizo’s performances this season in the Europa League, have identified Mirante as the perfect signing to provide competition and cover to Handanovic.

Mirante has made 156 league appearances for the Ducali during his career, and will leave after a long association with the club.
