Inter are reportedly closing in on the signing of Slovakian starlet Ondrej Duda.

The attacking midfielder had been at the centre of a transfer tussle between English Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham, but it is now believed that Inter have emerged as the strong favourites for the player’s signature.

Roberto Mancini’s side are ready to part with €7.5 million in order to bring the Legia Warsaw man to Milan, according to ESPN.

The twice-capped senior Slovakia international is apparently considered by some to be the next Marek Hamsik, and even replaced the Napoli protagonist on his debut for the national side in November 2014.

Inter are well known to be keen on adding big names to their squad this summer, but the signing of Duda would appease fears that they are neglecting investing in youth talent.

The 20-year-old has 37 Ekstraklasa appearances to his name for his current club, in a career which has seen him net eight league goals for the Polish giants.
