Filippo Inzaghi AC MilanAhead of their final home game of the season against Torino, Filippo Inzaghi has explained that he intends to keep coaching AC Milan until the end of his contract.

The legendary Rossoneri striker has another year to run on his current deal, though speculation has linked a string of other coaches to his role.

“I’m the coach of Milan for another year,” he indicated in a pre-match press conference dominated by the long-term future of the club, “and I will carry on until I am told otherwise.

“I hear about it every day now, but I will keep going on, and giving my best.

“Those who are picked tomorrow night will do their best, too, and it will be nice to play at San Siro at night.

“After eight to nine months in the job I have a better idea about the squad and what it needs to improve.

“I have a contract and I hope to stay. I think there’s a good player base of talented Italians.”
