Juventus are reportedly keen to make a move for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie from Manchester United, after PSG ruled out a possible transfer for Edinson Cavani.

La Vecchia Signora were originally lining up a move for the 28-year-old former Napoli, however the French club have said that Cavani is not for sale this summer.

As a result rumours had 29-year-old Radamel Falcao the favourite to join the Bianconeri on loan from Monaco, but it appears the Italian champions are looking for reinforcements elsewhere.

Sportmediaset report that van Persie is now being looked at by the Bianconeri, as he is reportedly seeking a move away from Old Trafford following the Red Devils’ failure to automatically qualify for the Champions League group stages next season.

The 31-year-old joined Manchester United in the summer of 2012, scoring 58 goals in 105 appearances in all competitions.

  1. I know its come to silly season of the football schedule, but I don’t see this happening, as much as the Cavani rumours. We’ve just purchased Dybala so unless Tevez is going back to Boca this summer (Which I doubt, I would have to be hugely wrong on my judgement of Tevez, the way hes playing, his overall morale, if performances reflect psyche, then he is truly loving it in Turin)And we are probably going to move Llorente on We would have a striking roster of Morata, Tevez, Dybala and thats not including our other likely move to bring in Zaza to replace Llorente and putting Coman out on loan, Dybala is very versatile so its a possibility that he could be fit into the team on a shared role as Treq with Advanced Playmaker as well as Striking roles to meet his desired game time, even then Van Persie is the type of egomaniacally striker that will want to play all games and his ego isnt good for the Juve squad.
