The fixtures for the Serie B play-off preliminary round and relegation play-out have been confirmed after the final round of league matches were completed on Friday night.

After Pescara’s victory over Christian Panucci’s Livorno, it is the Delfini who take to the play-offs having finished seventh in the regular season, and they are joined by five other teams competing to join Carpi and Frosinone in next season’s Serie A.

Perugia await Massimo Oddo’s Pescara in a one-off preliminary game that will take place on Tuesday May 26 at 18:30 CET at the Grifoni’s Stadio Renato Curi.

Later that day the other preliminary round match-up will take place, when eighth-placed Avellino travel to Spezia for a 21:00 kick-off.

The winners of these two matches will take on Vicenza and Bologna, respectively, in the two-legged play-off semi-finals that will be played on May 29 and June 2 at 17:30 CET and 20:00 CET.

The winner of the semi-finals will then move on to another two-legged match for the final Serie A promotion place, with those matches taking place on June 5 and 9 at 19:30 CET.

The relegation play-out, featuring Virtus Entella and Modena, will be played on May 30 and June 6 at 17:30 CET.
