Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has reportedly reconsidered his decision to keep midfielder Lucas Leiva at the club, opening the door for Inter to make a move for the Brazilian this summer.

The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield, and despite reported interest from several clubs in January, Rodgers vetoed a possible sale in order to keep Leiva at the club.

The Mirror reports that Rodgers is reconsidering his decision to keep hold of the Brazilian and is willing to listen to any offers, with Inter and coach Roberto Mancini still interested in landing his services.

The report goes on to suggest that Rodgers believes Leiva is not dynamic enough to play in his midfield, with Joe Allen preferred over the former Gremio man.

While playing time will open up with the departure of club captain Steven Gerrard, it is believed the Reds will bring in current Manchester City midfielder James Milner as his replacement.

What report? LFC do not discus anything to do with player transfers in the media and anyone at the club doing so faces instant dismissal. These so called reports we read abut day in and day out are nothing but figments of brain dead wannabe reporters. and corrupt media barons.
