Miralem Pjanic RomaManchester United are formulating an enormous €70 million bid to acquire Roma’s midfield tandem of Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan.

The Red Devils have been keeping tabs on the Bosnian midfielder for some time to add creativity to coach Louis van Gaal’s side and are now reportedly looking to make a double swoop to also sign the gritty Belgian Nainggolan.

The Daily Express reported on Sunday the English giants will tempt the Giallorossi with the huge bid and thwart off the interest from other European giants including Barcelona who has been the subject of transfer talk all season.

Pjanic has been one of the best midfielders in Serie A since his €11 million transfer from Lyon and the tough-tackling Nainggolan has been at the forefront of Roma’s recent revival.

The Giallorossi may look to shake up the squad and retool as the capital club looks to unlock Juventus’ stranglehold at the summit of Italian football.
