Inter coach Roberto Mancini has admitted his side lacked intensity in their 0-0 draw with Chievo.

The Nerazzurri couldn’t find the net in the 90 minutes as the visitors held out for the point at the Stadio Meazza on Sunday afternoon.

“We are disappointed, unfortunately we had trouble finding the goal,” Mancini told Sky Sport Italia.

“Chievo defended with so many men behind the ball, we perhaps lacked intensity in the first half.

“Matches can be decided by talented players and we have them, today it was just hard to score.”

Inter have lost ground on their rivals in the pursuit of Europa League football for next season, but Mancini insists the Nerazzurri will do everything they can to quality for Europe.

“I can’t complain forever, we will give our all to qualify for the Europa League,” he concluded.

Sampdoria currently sit in sixth on 51 points with Inter just two points behind them.
